This traditional style blouse in red cotton is hand-embroidered with golden silk floss creating an intricate bird and flower motif. The yoke and short sleeves are lushly embroidered, and this beautiful embroidery cascades down the bodice. The neck and sleeves are finished with a hand crocheted edging. The bodice has pleats in addition to the gathering. The rich hand-embroidery on this garment can take up to three months to create.

Perfect for an evening event, or casual afternoon outing. Express your own style. Rock it with shorts, capris, or jeans and boots or sandals. Give it a boho flavor by pairing it with a long skirt. Change up the look with a belt or sash.

This blouse is hand-made by the local Maya women artisans located in San Antonio, Oaxaca, in southern Mexico. These dresses include embroidered designs rooted in local history and mythology, linking deep cultural traditions to the modern world.

Because these items are hand-crafted by local artisans using traditional techniques, slight variations may occur. Note that colors may vary according to each display monitor.
