This black blouse made of cotton gauze has a multi-colored hand-woven yoke, with woven diamond shape and frog motif, and long sleeves with hand-woven trim at the cuff. The pleating at the yoke and cuffs is created with hand-embroidery (smocking), and the cuffs are finished with a tassel tie.

Perfect for an evening event, or casual afternoon outing. Express your own style. Rock it with shorts, capris, or jeans and boots or sandals. Give it a boho flavor by pairing it with a long skirt. Change up the look with a belt or sash.

Chiapas blouses are hand-made by the local Maya women artisans in Chiapas, located in southern Mexico. Though fashioned in a contemporary style, these blouses include embroidered designs rooted in local history and mythology, linking deep cultural traditions to the modern world. In this matriarchal society, the women play a crucial role in the economy through the creation of these beautiful garments.

Because these items are hand-crafted by local artisans using traditional techniques, slight variations may occur.
