Q'ero/ Awayo Style Mesa/Mestana Cloth - 43" X 18.5"
Vintage Awayo style, hand-woven alpaca and natural dyes from the Andes, Bolivia. Used in Ceremony and is in good condition for its age, approximately 60 years old. It can also be worn as a wrap and closed with a pin/tupu on a small person.
*Tupu/Tupo is a pin, usually ornate and has some meaning, made in Bolivia and Peru.
The Andean people use these Mesa/Mestana cloths in their Shamanic/Healing practices and Ceremony.
Can be used as decor in your home or office, adding warmth, texture, and culture.
