Spacing of the conchos is easily adjusted, allowing this belt to fit small to extra large.

This extraordinary piece is hand stamped with detailed patterns in Vincent Platero's signature style. The patterns show extraordinary detail. Vincent Platero is known for creating high quality jewelry, and this piece does not disappoint. The back is stamped sterling silver, and bears Platero's hallmark proving its authenticity.

Vincent Platero, of the Cañoncito Band of Navajo, grew up on the To'Hajiilee reservation, located 30 miles west of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Having come from a long line of silversmiths, Vincent was taught the art by his mother, and to this day uses tools passed down through generations in his family. Platero has developed an identifiable style all his own, characterized by precise and intricate hand stamp work. Each piece is finished with an oxidized technique which adds depth to the design, and creates a vintage feel. Platero jewelry is some of the most collectible of all Navajo jewelry.

Because these items are hand-crafted by local artisans using traditional techniques, slight variations may occur. Note that colors may vary according to each display monitor.
