These new Watana ties are generally used to securely close the Mesa, Mestana, or Despacho Cloths. These are handwoven by women around Pisac and Cuzco, Peru. The weavers are paid directly.

If you are purchasing a Mesa/Mestana, we can select the most complimentary tie(s) for your selection. Then send you a photo(s) so you can select your favorite.

Some ties in the photos may have sold and no longer be available.

The Andean people use these Mesa/Mestana cloths in their Shamanic practices and Ceremony.

Can be used as decor in your home or office, adding warmth, texture, and culture.

Please note that the photo with the Mesas, Shipibo Rattles, and watanas/ties are for display; they may not be available if sold. However, there are more available. Each one is unique.
