Condition: Vintage, Excellent condition
This vintage Aguayo style Mesa cloth is made of hand-woven alpaca and natural dyes from the Andes. It has been stored for many years, and therefore is in excellent condition.
The center seam is bound with colorful hand embroidery. It has binding on all four sides.
The Aguayo style Mesa cloth is used in the Pachachuti tradition of cross-cultural shamanism. Being of a larger size, the Aguayo style Mesa cloth is sometimes used as a community Mesa. These cloths are also traditionally used to wrap sacred items, serve as an altar cloth, as well as every day uses such as carrying a variety things from firewood to babies, or being worn as a shawl for warmth.
It can also be used as decor in your home or office, adding warmth, texture, and culture.
