Q'ero style, hand-woven alpaca from the Andes, Peru. The fields of color are the natural colors of the alpaca wool. Mesa cloths made of this type of natural colored alpaca wool are regarded as very special by the Shamans/Curanderos. The off-white panel contains natural color variations.
The colorful border design is created with natural dyes.
The Andean people use these Mesa/Mestana cloths in their Shamanic practices and Ceremony. Cloths with the tassels are generally called Despacho Cloths, however, it can be used as a Mesa Cloth.
Can be used as decor in your home or office, adding warmth, texture, and culture.
