Chinchero, located in the Sacred Valley, Peru, is renowned for its fine weaving in the ancient Inca tradition. Chinchero weaving, highly regarded for its exquisite detail, is completely hand made, from hand spun wool and natural dyes made from various local plants to the laborious process of hand weaving such a tightly woven textile on a backstrap loom.
The Andean people use these Mesa/Mestana cloths in their Shamanic practices and Ceremony.
Can be used as decor in your home or office, adding warmth, texture, and culture.
